What can I expect from a psychiatrist?
Follow-up appointments are scheduled and range from 15-20 minutes. As we work towards a successful treatment plan, follow-up appointments may be more frequent, about every 2-4 weeks. After a stable regimen is reached, the appointments can be spaced out according to your treatment plan.
The psychiatrist may also order labs to guide treatment and aid in diagnosis.
